Sad day
Well yesterday was kind of a sad day. But the kids were so cute they threw us a surprise going away party. We decorated cookies and they made big posters for us that I hung in my bedroom so everytime I pass it I think of those sweet kids. They each wrote us a letter too which was so fun to sit and read about what they had learned in our lessons. What cute and fun kids, I can't wait to get my own classroom. Well now back to the books I look forward to seeing you all on Monday.

I know what you mean ~~ I was surprized at the hugs we got when we left!! Several of the kids made us cards.... and don't worry, they wanted our email address so they could keep in touch and I have already had emails! Maybe that wasn't such a great idea?!? but I'm sure it will pass.... See you on Monday
Sounds like things went well for you and that the kids loved you, that is cool that the students wrote you letters. See you tomorrow.
yeah, saying goodbye to those kids was bittersweet. I will definatly miss all of them. The kids made us cards too, and crowned us "queens" they gave us paper crowns...oh and we ate lunch with them. Holy cow, that was scary yet exciting to eat with kids again. I forgot how crazy it gets in the lunch room. I have never seen so many ways to play with your food as I did that day.
