Half way through
Wow I can't believe we are half way through our field experience, it has been great. I really think the way we have been able to remember their names is our teacher gave us a seating chart with their names on it, so we just started memorizing who was where and then we have been able to put names with faces as the days have went on. We did our cause and effect lesson today and I was really worried about it because it seemed a bit tougher in Welte's class. But the kids really got it and they really seemed to be right there with us, it was a great feeling. It actually went better than yesterday which had a few bumps in it. Any way it is great hearing from our class and to hear how everything is going. Keep up the great work everyone.

Wow! it sounds like you are having a great time! I'm sure you're lessons have been going well, it's crazy how we, as teacher, over or under estimate how our lessons will go. I hope your lessons keep going as planned and you enjoy getting to know your students. Keep up the good work!
It sounds like you are having a fun time. Yes it is crazy how we under estimate how our lesson will go. Today Angela and I did the concept attainment lesson plan and it went well, we did it on sand. The students were suppose to do a sand art, but we ran out of time. I guess this is how we learn. I hope you continue to have success in the classroom.

I am glad things are going so well. I am also excited you did a cause and effect lesson that went well ~ I kind of struggled with the cause and effect lesson plan ~ kudos to you guys for using variety. We have used quite a bit of cooperative learning stratedgies. We also did a choral reading on Friday that was super! And yes, I'm going to miss our students too, it is amazing how quickly you get attached!!! Either it's the mom-in-me or maybe that's why we all want to be teachers!!!!
